E3DS streaming servers are equipped with 32 GB RAM, an i7 or R7 processor, 8 GB or 16 GB GPU VRAM, and an RTX 4080 or RTX 5070 GPU. Standard pricing includes an RTX 4080 or 5070 as the stock GPU. If your app needs more resources than the standard setup provides, you can contact E3DS support for a custom hardware configuration.
E3DS recommends keeping your app within the following limits to ensure stable streaming: up to 20 GB RAM, 4–6 GB GPU VRAM, and 50–70% CPU and GPU utilization. You should build and test your app against these targets before uploading. If your app consistently exceeds them, contact support to discuss a custom hardware setup.
E3DS recommends targeting 1280 × 720 resolution and 30 frames per second for your Unreal Engine app. You should also disable PAK files by unchecking the Disable PAK Files option in Project Settings. These settings help ensure stable, efficient streaming within the platform's hardware constraints.
Primary streaming servers are located in the United States and Europe. E3DS also supports deployment on major public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as Coreweave and Oracle Cloud.
E3DS supports up to five cloud providers. On AWS, you can use g4dn instances (NVIDIA T4) or g5 instances (NVIDIA A10). On GCP, n1-standard VMs with NVIDIA T4 are available. Azure supports Standard_NCasT4_v3 (T4), Standard_NVadsA10 v5 (A10), and Standard_NC_v3 (Tesla V100). On Coreweave, available GPUs include the Quadro RTX 4000, RTX 5000, RTX A6000, and A10.
Poor streaming performance is often caused by excessive RAM usage, high GPU VRAM consumption, or CPU and GPU utilization that exceeds recommended limits. Following E3DS resource recommendations, optimizing your Unreal Engine project, and testing performance before deployment can help ensure a stable streaming experience.
Strict firewall rules on corporate or public networks can block the ports and protocols required for Pixel Streaming. Proxy servers and VPNs can also interfere with the connection. The first step is to contact your IT department or network administrator to understand why the app is blocked and request that the relevant domains and ports be whitelisted.
The following domains must be whitelisted: *.eagle3dstreaming.com and *.eaglepixelstreaming.com (core platform), d35e1ftufisrhj.cloudfront.com (load error prevention), amazonaws.com and googleapis.com (in-game file uploads), cdn.jsdelivr.net (VOIP), ipgeolocation.abstractapi.com (improved load time), and global.turn.twilio.com / global.stun.twilio.com (WebRTC). Required ports: 3478 (TCP/UDP), 5349 (TCP), 443 (TCP), and 49152–65535 (UDP).
A VPN can help bypass network policy or geo-based blocks, but it is not recommended as a long-term solution. VPNs typically introduce significant lag and degrade stream quality. Whitelisting the required domains and ports through your IT department is the preferred fix.
